Our friends at Liberty Tire have released their 2022 Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) report, complete with details on who they are, what they do, their current approach to sustainability, their zero waste goal for the future, and how they are working with partners to advance sustainable products.

As a result of their efforts over the past year, Liberty Tire has increased our fuel efficiency, improved operational efficiency, reduced workplace incidents and increased community engagement.

Highlights include:

• Over 195 million tires collected for recycling in 2022
• In 2022, Liberty Tires participated in an unprecedented project to evaluate the potential to use fibres from recycled tires for asphalt technology
• By 2030, Liberty Tire aims to have 100% of tires collected enter end-of-use markets
